INTERACTIVE VIDEO WALL & EDUCATIONAL API

A video wall was commissioned to act as the central jewel in the lobby of a beautiful project on Great Northern Way in Vancouver. the owners of the building challenged us to create an interactive element, and we responded with a proposal to make it a student exhibition space, drawing on the talent of the digital media students in the adjacent building on the same campus. The result is a stunning example of cross-disciplinary creativity and community development. Xprt produced the video wall, and an Application Programming Interface (API) for the students to engage in the creation of their own interactive exhibits. The lobby is graced with new and engaging art regularly as a result. 

GREAT RESULTS IN CLEAR VIEW OF THE COMMUNITY

This project has been active for more than a year now, and students at the adjacent Centre for Digital Media (CDM) have been exploiting the platform for projects as part of their program, and the results have been fantastic for both the students, and the creative business community that occupies the building.
