 A client who owns and operates the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel asked us to help solve an issue they were repeatedly encountering in their high-end lobby space. View fullsize
 This is a grand hotel lobby, that not only features live musical acts, it’s known for the talent that frequents this space - having created something of a coveted stage in downtown Vancouver. View fullsize
 The stage was designed to be a pair of guitar picks, stacked upon each other, setup with five locations for a standard 5-piece band. Our role involved interleaving the monitor speakers and other sound equipment required to run a show hidden within t View fullsize
 One of the prettier, and more organized gigs available to Vancouver’s talented acts, this uniquely compact, but oddly capable venue is an ideal centrepiece for this beautiful hotel lobby. View fullsize
 Hiding the monitor speakers and most f the associate cabling underneath the stage allows for an exceptionally clean look for the stage while musicians occupy the attention of the hotel guests. View fullsize
 Even a full stage with five musicians manages to avoidthe usual mess of black-boxed equipment and cabling. It allows the stage to be of a far more intimate size than it would otherwise need to be, and allows an entire band to be neatly contained on View fullsize
 The Fairmont has enjoyed the ability to proceed without a sound engineer on premises every tie a band sets up, saving money, and complication, while enhancing their lobby environment with a beautiful stage update. Musicians are provided the means to View fullsize
 Xprt designed five custom grilles that can be pulled up to access the monitor speakers and connection plates beneath for service. The musicians simply use a touchscreen control console for the stage, which allows them to connect and adjust the level View fullsize
